    2a Discuss any research that you carried out in these sessions: U2.1.1,
    In the first session we carried out primary research by experimenting with different medias and drawing techniques, some of the medias we used were pens, pencils, fine liner, etc... we were also given primary objects to sketch from. The secondary research we carried out was looking at past students work to get idea for our own woke and in the second session we had secondary images to trace for our mono printing.

    Primary: Experimenting with different medias, such as pen and pencil, fine liner, colours. Primary object.

    Secondary: looking through passed students work to inspire us and fine
    the best way to go about our own work. Secondary image to trace.


    2b Discuss any skills that you have tried: U2.1.1

    The skills we have learnt over the last week are post production and editing of a short film we created, creating sound effects for a movie. When we started the carousel we did sketching, mono printing.

    2c Discuss any processes and methods you used (Photography wet process, Screen Printing, Photoshop layering etc): U1.1.1

    We did mono printing in the second half of the carousel day. Mono 
    printing is when you use ink to make an image.
    First we made a pea sized blob of black oil ink on to a sheet of glass, once we had the ink on the glass we used a roller to spread the ink to the size of and A4 size of paper, when the ink was spread evenly we placed some paper over the top of it we an image on top then we traced around the image.

    2d Discuss the tools that you used (Paint, Material, Software, etc): U2 3.1
    On the carousel we started the day of by doing some sketching whilst doing this we used biro, pencil, fine liner, colour pens and pencil, water, and paper. In the second half of the day we did mono printing in this section we used aporuns, plastic gloves, paper, tape, an image, ink, a roller, a sheet of glass and a pen or pencil. At the end we had to clean the ink up and had ink removeing  solution, an ink serapes and tissue.

     Evaluated them 

     How effective are they?
    The different medias we used had effects such as the pencil had a soft smudged line whereas the fine liner had a more precise, harsher line to it. However after adding the water to the fine line the harshness of the line faded. 
    The tape was really helpful to hold down the image that I was mono printing.
    The ink removing solution was really effective and really helped to get the ink of of the glass, but after scraping all the ink off the glass it left a pile of watery ink which is the tissues were really helpful to wipe up 

    How could this be improved?
     I could've improved my sketching by using different media together instead of one at a time.
     Although the Tate was really helpful the image to move slightly so next time I could improve it by sticking it down better.
     The ink removing solution, scraper and tissue were really helpful and do not need to be improved.

    Camera Techniques.

    Camera Techniques. Tilted Panning  This is when you use a tripod to scale up or down a subject during the attention to different pats of the subject as you do it. For example, if i had a person i was introducing to a program and i wanted to build tension i would use a upward pan so that at you see more of the body you can try figure out who it is. You can create an upwards tilted pan, by starting the tripod tilted to the ground you can start filing the feet and slowly go up the body and viser verser. I would use a downward pan if i was scaling a build to meet a subject at the bottom of it.  This would be useful in my production if I were to create a more dominating factor to a character for example if Danny was standing in a normal frame shot he would seem less dominating, whereas ifThis camera shot was used it would be like a slow  reveal to find out Who is under his mask. Panning  This technique can also be done on a tripod you can use this technique to follow a moving object

    sound effects

    On Monday we got into our groups that we were in before to create the sound effects so that we could edit them in to the video. Unfortunately our in sound affects didn’t save so we could not use them, but instead another group let us used their sound and we use video converter to get siundv effects off the Internet. We started off by turning the sound off the original video so that you can hear the sound effects we created. Once that was done we found the appropriate sound effects for the moment in the scene, because we had to use sound effects off the Internet we had to use video converter and the site that we used was quite slow so we only got the sound effect of the knife stabbing. Foley is when you make a sound effect from every day item that will be added in to a movie or video in post probuction for a better sound quality.  To get the sound effects we did a workshop with different items such as to make a stabbing noise we used a knife to chop up a cabbage, we also used a bucke

     The first thing we had to do was to come up with ideas for our adverts.  As a group we were able to come up with three different ideas that we thought would work well, these ideas were to have a family playing on the kindle I’m going through all the features with some dramatic music. The second idea was to do a generic phone advert with cinematic shots of the  kinda.  The final idea in the one we chose was to make it look as if the kindle was being experimented on find out what it could do  i’m find out all the different features it has. We also added the cinematic shots from the second idea at the end with some information about the product.  So the first thing we had to do was to come up with  advert ideas the.  Were able to do this quite well in a group as we have different suggestions and we were able to narrow it down to 3 main ideas. These ideas were to have a family sitting in the living room on the kindle playing and trying to find something that they could do together with
