Title : Critically Comparing my Skills, Processes and Methods

Look below at what you  are you being asked to evaluate.
Unit 1
U1.2.1 Critically compare a range of communication methods used to convey meaning in creative media production.
Note Critically is similar to compare but concentrate on the things that are different with two or more methods used or what sets them apart. Point out any differences which are particularly significant.

In your own words say what U1.2.1 is asking you to do.
Answer:
U1.2.1  is asking me to evaluates more than one way of communicating in a media production and to evaluate how good or bad these different methods of communication would be such as talking to someone is a method of communication but if they were in a situation where they had to be quiet a better method would be to use signals which is also a communication method.

What have you been doing that you can evaluate

3rd. Apply the information
How well have you done in the sessions?
Ask yourself:
  • Which skills, Processes and Methods or tools you enjoyed the most?
Answer:
I enjoyed the painting with Ink the most because I liked creating a design for a T-shirt and using  inks. I like how when you painted the design with the ink that the colours were all dark and rusty but after it's gone through the heat press they were more vibrant.
  • Which of the things you have been shown could you demonstrate to another person?
Answer:
 I think that I could demonstrate how to use the inks as I liked using them to create different shades and enjoyed it.
  • Which of the things you have been shown do you need more practice with?
Answer:
 I think that I need more practice on using the wonder web because when I first did my design I made it the wrong way round and had to do it again.

4th. Consider the implications
If you were asked by a professional to use some of the tools, skills, processes how well would you do?
Answer:
 I think I would do better on some of them then others such as the painting with inks as I have already done art whereas if I was asked to sew in a straight line I probably wouldn't be able to do it as well.

5. Explore other points of view
Have you considered feedback from teachers and Peers as to how well you did in the session, if so what feedback have you had?
Answer:
I have not had any feed back from the teachers, but some of my peers have said they liked my work.
What Feedback have you had so far that tells you, you are doing okay in the session?
Answer:
I have been told that my work is good.

Camera Techniques.

Camera Techniques. Tilted Panning  This is when you use a tripod to scale up or down a subject during the attention to different pats of the subject as you do it. For example, if i had a person i was introducing to a program and i wanted to build tension i would use a upward pan so that at you see more of the body you can try figure out who it is. You can create an upwards tilted pan, by starting the tripod tilted to the ground you can start filing the feet and slowly go up the body and viser verser. I would use a downward pan if i was scaling a build to meet a subject at the bottom of it.  This would be useful in my production if I were to create a more dominating factor to a character for example if Danny was standing in a normal frame shot he would seem less dominating, whereas ifThis camera shot was used it would be like a slow  reveal to find out Who is under his mask. sound effects

On Monday we got into our groups that we were in before to create the sound effects so that we could edit them in to the video. Unfortunately our in sound affects didn’t save so we could not use them, but instead another group let us used their sound and we use video converter to get siundv effects off the Internet. We started off by turning the sound off the original video so that you can hear the sound effects we created. Once that was done we found the appropriate sound effects for the moment in the scene, because we had to use sound effects off the Internet we had to use video converter and the site that we used was quite slow so we only got the sound effect of the knife stabbing. Foley is when you make a sound effect from every day item that will be added in to a movie or video in post probuction for a better sound quality.  To get the sound effects we did a workshop with different items such as to make a stabbing noise we used a knife to chop up a cabbage, we also used a bucke

 The first thing we had to do was to come up with ideas for our adverts.  As a group we were able to come up with three different ideas that we thought would work well, these ideas were to have a family playing on the kindle I’m going through all the features with some dramatic music. The second idea was to do a generic phone advert with cinematic shots of the  kinda.  The final idea in the one we chose was to make it look as if the kindle was being experimented on find out what it could do  i’m find out all the different features it has. We also added the cinematic shots from the second idea at the end with some information about the product.  So the first thing we had to do was to come up with  advert ideas the.  Were able to do this quite well in a group as we have different suggestions and we were able to narrow it down to 3 main ideas. These ideas were to have a family sitting in the living room on the kindle playing and trying to find something that they could do together with
